Top 10 Voicebot Podcasts of 2018
It’s holiday week for many people around the world and that often means a lot of time driving or engaging in projects where hands and eyes are occupied. That also means this is a great time of year to catch up on podcasts. We looked back at the ten most popular podcasts of 2018 in terms of user downloads and have listed them here.
Many of the most popular bias toward the second half of the year in part because the audience continues to grow, but there were a couple from the first half (Google Assistant Developer Panel, Keyvan Mohajer of Soundhouse) that definitely stood the test of time and are often downloaded even by new listeners. Another bias of Voicebot Podcast listeners is that executives and innovators from bigger and more established companies tend to receive more download activity. Three of the top 10 are legitimately from new startups (Shane Mac, Omar Tawakol, Jeff Adams — but Jeff also worked on Alexa so he has the big company association), while the remainder either are from big companies or are talking about their work on big company platforms. With that said, startups dominated the following positions 11-20 holding seven of the 10 places with the other three being topical as opposed to founder interviews.
