Gutenburg-NIC-Talk-2-FI

Video: The Gutenberg Parenthesis, Technology That Understands Our Language, and the Voice Revolution’s Impact on Elders

I had the honor to present recently to the NIC Fall Conference 2018 in Chicago and talk about the evolution of voice assistants, how voice is changing the way we interact with technology and the impact it is having on the elder community. This presentation is quite different than my other talks that focus on market data, strategy, and consumer trends. I cover why we should view voice differently from mobile and the web, how it is helping us break away from Gutenberg’s textual stranglehold, and how it is helping elderly users that have been largely left out of the digital revolution. Let me know what you think on Twitter.
