Microsoft Releases Open Source Toolkit Used to Build Speech Recognition
Ars Technicana – Microsoft released a new update to its formerly named Computational Network Toolkit last month. The latest version is now called the Cognitive Toolkit gives researchers new tools to develop their own machine learning systems. This includes a speech recognition system that recognizes the words in a conversation as well as a person does. And unlike Microsoft’s first version, the Cognitive Toolkit contains features beyond building speech applications. The Bing team is using it to make inferences about search terms for example. LINK
