Voice Global Reveals Speakers for 24-Hour Virtual Event
Modev has shared the speakers and other details for the 2021 Voice Global conference. This year’s event, run in partnership between Modev and Google Assistant, starts streaming live for free on Tuesday, June 15 at 6 p.m. EST and will run an entire 24-hour day. You can register to watch it here.
Virtual Voice Global 2021
Voice Global began in 2019 and has always been a purely online event, which meant the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t impact its scheduling in 2020 or this year. Though the format and length of the event have remained the same, the impact of the pandemic will almost certainly be noted in other ways, including an accelerated adoption of voice tech among consumers and businesses adjusting to the long quarantines and lockdowns that began early last year.
“Voice Global 2021 will bring the voice tech community from around the world together for an inside look at how brands around the world are incorporating voice into their business,” Modev CEO and Voice Global organizer Pete Erickson said. “This is an opportunity to connect and hear from the major voice tech influencers and developers who are making an impact on the future of multiple industries worldwide.”
Worldly Speakers
The list of Voice Global’s notable speeches and interviews this year is an impressive combination of leaders in voice and AI. The collection includes representatives from the companies developing the technology, as well as those that have leveraged it to serve their business and industry needs. The presenters and interview subjects include Voicify chief strategy officer Jason Fields, Visa senior director of global product innovation and design Patrick Flanagan, Comcast Cable vice president of AI product Jeanine Hack, TuneIn CEO Richard Stern, and GE Lighting vice president Paul Williams. Voicebot.ai founder Bret Kinsella will also be a speaker, sharing some of his data and insight at 11 p.m. EST. Google director of product management Rebecca Nathenson will kick off the event’s speaker line-up at 6 p.m. on Wednesday as the representative for Modev’s partner for the event. Google Assistant has been working closely with Modev since the pandemic began, running the Voice Talks series of virtual events almost every month, a series that recently earned a Webby Award.
“The VOICE brand represents the future of conversational technology and AI, most importantly – the future of how we work, live, play, and learn. We are excited to support this 24-virtual event, particularly as it is a celebration of all things voice tech,” said Leslie Garcia Amaya, Global Product Partnerships, AI at Google.
