New Webinar This Week: Coronavirus, Tech and the Impact on the Voice Industry
Voicebot announced this morning that we will be hosting a webinar this Thursday at 12 noon EDT related to the global coronavirus pandemic and the impact on the tech and voice industries. The webinar is limited to 500 participants and will include Q&A as well as a moderated discussion with three panelists that can offer unique insights into the impact today and what to expect over time.
- Rani Molla (Senior Data Reporter at Recode / Vox Media) – Rani has written several articles this month about coronavirus and the impact on tech and society. Her focus on data helps ground discussions around what is actually happening over simple opinions.
- Ben Fox Rubin – (Senior Reporter at CNET) – Ben’s beat is Amazon which is quickly becoming a central hub for coronavirus activity given its focus on direct delivery. Amazon is hiring right now to meet demand and there are also those impacts to discuss about Alexa and the consumer electronic device supply chain.
- David Watkins (Service Director – Connected Home Devices at Strategy Analytics) – David is one of the leading global researchers on the consumer electronics supply chain. He covers smart speakers specifically and can also speak to how this category and smart home devices will be impacted by the disruption.
