Got Skills? Enter the Devpost Amazon Alexa Skills Challenge
Devpost, an online community for developers, is hosting a new hackathon specifically for Amazon Alexa skills. Devpost is looking for an Alexa skills that make “life more enjoyable, organized and / or convenient.” Submissions will be judged on quality of the idea, implementation and its potential value to Alexa users.
The competition is open until May 9, and prizes will total over $40,000 including a $5,000 cash prize for first place. Despite Alexa being a relatively new computing platform, there are already more than 1,800 participants.
