MIT Students and Others Are Teaching IBM Watson About Cybersecurity

TechRepublic – In May, IBM announced its Watson for Cyber Security initiative. The program would have IBM, along with several universities, teach Watson how to recognize the difference between safe and risky data to become a cyber security expert.  There are already Watson applications in place internally at IBM for insider threat protection, but IBM hopes this initiative will ease the burden on overworked cybersecurity professionals. Many believe that the US lacks the professional labor force needed to combat the increasing number of external security threats. IBM hopes Watson can help. LINK
