Phandroid – What Google Assistant Can Do Right Now
In the video below, Joe Fedewa of Phandroid, walks through the current capabilities of Google Assistant which is now available through Google’s Allo messenger app. Eventually the Assistant will be available on all Android phones and Google Home. A lot of its capabilities are similar to those of Google Now but there a few differences. Google Assistant can remember things the user tells it, like what your favorite color is or a password. It also allows you to schedule updates allowing the user to get a weather update at a specific time every day. But once Google Home becomes available, the experience will become even richer for the user as it will integrate with other Google devices. Watch the full video below:
