VentureBeat – Microsoft and Yahoo Have Built Fantasy Football Bots

VentureBeat – Thursday, Yahoo announced that Yahoo Fantasy Football users can now receive updates about their fantasy football teams through Amazon’s Alexa. The new Alexa skill allows users to get updates on their team’s standings, NFL player’s fantasy scores and weekly matchup predictions by beginning each question with “Alexa, ask Yahoo Fantasy Football…” This follows Microsoft’s announcement in September that is developing a Fantasy Football bot on Skype with the NFL. The bot will help users sift through large amounts of data to decide which player to start in each position. It will also provide suggestions during fantasy football drafts.
