Bloomberg – According to sources, Apple’s smart-home device has moved from the research and development phase and is now in prototype testing. Apple looks to surpass Amazon and Google’s home assistants with a more robust microphone and speaker technology. It is also rumored the device may have facial recognition software capabilities.
