Reuters – Samsung to Launch AI Digital Assistant Service for Galaxy S8

Reuters – The new Galaxy S8 smart phone from Samsung will include a digital assistant the company said yesterday. The electronics company recently acquired artificial intelligence Viv, which it plans to integrate into all its smart phone, wearable and home appliances. Samsung needs its Galaxy S8 smart phone to be a huge success after losing billions of dollars from its Galaxy Note 7 recall. The Galaxy S8 will go on sale next year and its artificial intelligence platform will be open to third-party developers. Like other tech giants, Samsung is betting big on the fact that artificial intelligence is the next big thing. The company said it plans to continue to invest in other artificial intelligence platforms. LINK
